Tier 2 Automotive Connector Supplier looking to hire several Machine Operators for Night shift to join their Team in Rochester, MI!
Placement: Contract to Direct (90 Days)
Night Shift: 7pm-7am **This is a rotating 12 hour shift**
Pay: $17/hr. Shift premiums are included and weekend premiums
Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, and Sat (off Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday)
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Off Mon, Tues, Fri, and Sat)
Project/Duties for Machine Operator:
To ensure the Quality attributes of injection molding parts and provide packaging for the injection molding machines.
Machine Operator activities
- Quality inspection of molded parts to identify flash, burns, short shots, broken details, incorrect data wheels, etc.
- Fit and function test on molded parts to verify function.
- Provide packaging for injection molding machines.
- Keeping machines, floor, and area clean/free of debris or parts.
- Communication with Shift Leader and Quality on any quality issues with parts.
- Accuracy in measurement and documentation and tenacity.
- Adhere to company’s 5’s Standards.
Essential Skills for the Molding Operator:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+yrs. related experience in injection molding preferred
- Automotive Sector – Production facilities

Soft Skills:
- Attention to details is a must ensuring products manufactured to the required specifications
- Strong Communication skills (written & verbal)
