StreamlineHR is seeking qualified Toolmakers and Machine Builders for our customers in Metro Detroit - Auburn Hills/Pontiac, Warren/Sterling Heights/Troy area, Shelby Twp/Clinton Twp, Novi/Brighton area, Ann Arbor area, Grand Rapids/Holland area, Genesee County area, and Lansing area.
We are also seeking candidates available for installation and teardown projects that would require travel outside of MI.
Position: Pipefitter - Machine Tool
Pay rate: Dependent on experience - Class 1, Class 2, and Helper Level

Skills & Responsibilities:
- 2+ years of experience as a Pipefitter, or a documented completion of an apprenticeship program as a + Pipefitter, or a journeymen pipefitter certification
- Experience as a pipefitter in an industrial / manufacturing environment
- Ability to work read blueprints, layouts, or other specifications detailed by customers
- Knowledgeable of types and sizes of pipe and related specifications
- Experienced in measuring, cutting, threading, bending, filing, and ream pipe with saws, benders, pipe cutters, pipe threaders, cutting torches, soldering irons, drill, taps, and related hand and power tools
- Ability to assemble and install pipe and plumbing fittings using clamps, brackets, hangers, wrenches, pliers and related hand tools
- Ability to repair, replace and maintain defective piping and plumbing components such as valves, traps, toilets, showers, and drinking fountains using hand and power tools
- Ability to inspect piping and plumbing systems to detect malfunctions and make necessary repairs and adjustments
